Terms and Conditions

APPLICATION – Making Strides Markets prefer to showcase high quality merchandise,

Stall selection approval will be chosen at the discretion of the event Organiser with no discussion entered into.  We take your application seriously as we endeavour to bring a great choice to our customers,

Site positions are totally at the discretion of the organiser.  There are no reserved site locations, stallholders may indicate a preference at time of application, however the Organiser is not bound by this request and will make their final decision based on desired asthetics.   Some minor changes may occur on Event date if needed in order to facilitate a smoother bump-in.
Stalls cannot be transferred, sublet, franchised or sold to any other person, nor can they be shared with another business. without written approval.

Stallholders must agree that they will exercise good judgement and always be respectful and courteous to Making Strides Events personnel, fellow stallholders and customers in person and on all platforms of social media.

BUMP-IN – Bump-in information including site maps will be issued the week prior to Event date.  Due to agreed hire times with the venue bump-in prior to the advised time is not permitted.  Access to site for bump-in purposes closes 30 minutes prior to event time for the safety of all personnel and early patrons.

SITE SIZE – We offer a range of site sizes which are priced accordingly, stallholders must pay strict attention to their allowance as a courtesy to fellow vendors.

* Indoor 3×3 & 3×6 Site – Sites are one standard trestle table width + room to enter & exit site.  Depending on the size of stallholders table, banner/rack is permitted within the 3m.  Stallholder can elect To trade from clothing racks in lieu of trestle table.  Up to 3 meters will be given behind the table for chairs and extra stock.

PRODUCTS FOR SALE – Please note the following banned sales, substances and activities:

  • Secondhand electrical products, animals, poisonous products, prescriptions, illegal or offensive material, firearms, ammunition, explosives, weapons or dangerous goods of any kind, cigarettes/alcohol/drugs, any illegal drug related products.
  • Stallholders may not sell anything that may leak or cause damage from being dragged across the floors. No items that have legal restrictions on their sale or disposal.
  • The Organiser reserves the right to cancel any booking that doesn’t comply to the above stipulations.

STALL ACCEPTANCE – Once a stall has been approved an invoice will be sent for payment within seven (7) days with a confirmation letter sent upon receipt of funds.  Failure to make payment within the seven (7) day time frame will result in automatic cancellation and the site being offered to the next business on the waiting list..  Please note there will be no ‘holding’ of stall sites.

INVOICES – Invoices are due within 7 days of invoice date or no later than 14 days prior to Event date.  No payments on the day will be accepted.  Deposits and/or a payment schedule are welcome if needed.  If a vendor is having financial issues, contact with event organiser via email is essential.


Fees are set out in the relevant application forms. together with anciliary costs if applicable.  Some Events May incur GST.

Fees are non-negotiable.  Please do not request a reduction in fees – we have costed these events carefully and will always endeavour to keep our fees as low as we possiblly can. – There is no room to move on fee pricing.

REFUNDS –  fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.  Please make your decisions carefully.


Refunds will only be granted if more than 14 days notice is given of cancellation.  Fees under these circumstances can be refunded in full or credited to future events but must be requested in writing within 10 days of the notice of cancellation.  Failure to comply will result in forfeit of fees.

Other than the situation stated above, refunds are not payable under any circumstances.

The Event Organiser or third party/s venue provider may cancel the event at any time due to their own discretion, inclement weather or safety risks. This includes, but is not limited to; rain, storms, thunder, fire, wild winds, power outage or extreme heat.  If the market is closed, all trading must cease immediately.  No refunds are applicable under these circumstances.

HEAT POLICY: At the discretion of the organiser, the event may close earlier if conditions deem this necessary.

CODE RED DAY: If a Code Red day is called by the CFA, then the Event will NOT proceed. No refunds or credits are given for the cancellation of events and/or reduced trading hours on Event day due to adverse weather conditions.


Public Liability Insurance – All Stallholders must have Public Liability Insurance with a minimum $20 million cover, copy must be provided with application.


Stallholders & Vendors must not exceed 5kph when driving within the Event area.
Stallholders & Vendors must not move vehicles within trading hours.
Smoking is not permitted at any stall site and must me a minimum 10m away from the Event.


Stallholders are required to remove their own rubbish and waste from their stall site.  Failure to do so may result in a fine.
Stallholders are responsible for leaving their site and surrounding area clean, tidy and undamaged.


Stallholders must provide their own marquee, tables and chairs as needed and unless otherwise mentioned on application form..
All Sites must be in good, professional presentation.
Marquees must be weighted at all times (no pegs permitted).

Stallholders must respond co-operatively to any direction given by the Management team in relation to the operation and occupation of their stall, equipment, goods and vehicle during operating times and any direction of a security or safety nature.
Stallholders must not act in a verbally or physically abusive dangerous or disruptive manner and if so, it will be not tolerated and result in immediate termination.

We work on a commonsense basis.  It is expected that all stallholders work together to ensure the best outcome logistically and aesthetically and when on-line it is expected that all stallholders advertise their event equally.

Making Strides Events pride themselves on having the happiest team around, projecting a cheerful and co-operative demeanour to customers and fellow stallholders and vendors is paramount.
